Keystone is not your typical strategy consulting firm. Formed in partnership with professors from Harvard Business School and Wharton, Keystone has exclusive access to experts and thought leadership from top academic institutions. We specialize in developing data-driven strategies and providing economic consulting services to science and technology firms. Our teams tackle complex business problems in rapidly evolving industries such as online advertising, internet services, software, and biotechnology. We drive the business decisions you read about on the front page of the Wall Street Journal.

Keystone’s Consultants are knowledgeable in both technology and business. Consultant responsibilities include defining and supervising work streams, structuring presentations, managing analysts, conducting analysis, contributing to client recommendations and managing client relationships.

Building exceptional teams starts with recruiting. We prefer to hire former consultants from top tier firms, as they often have exceptional problem structuring and analytical skills.

1. Education: An MBA from a top tier university. Ideal candidates have demonstrated consistent success competing against the best and brightest students in the country.

2. Technology Background: Strong interest in and understanding of technology driven industries. We like to see candidates who have familiarity with areas such as internet services, semiconductors, enterprise applications, hardware or pharmaceuticals.

3. Analytics: Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop hypotheses and present well-supported solutions.

4. Recognized Excellence: Demonstrated ability to deliver superior results. Tell us a story of someone in a work-type setting recognizing you for making a great contribution or delivering exceptional results.

5. Relationship Development: Outstanding relationship-building skills and demonstrated ability to connect with people at all levels in an organization. Convince us that you have the ability to interface with everyone from the junior file clerk to the CEO at a Fortune 100 company (and if you think that the file clerk's perspective couldn't impact our analysis, this probably isn't the right firm for you).
